Introduction

Do you want to see real change? Let's be honest: healing takes work. Do you feel stuck reliving the old anxiety ridden patterns? Maybe you feel like there’s a barrier between you and other people. For some reason you feel like no matter what you do, you’re never enough. No matter how hard you try to overcompensate, “fake it until you make it,” or avoid it, you still feel the same. You may even be successful or moving forward and you tell yourself “this works”, and you’re still miserable. Now more than ever, we all feel like we have so much to lose when we try to heal. But it doesn’t have to feel like this. As a Christian who's a counselor, I’m dedicated to empowering high-performing, collaborative, and motivated clients turn and face patterns of over-functioning; perfectionism, disproportionate emotional responsibility, and proving one’s worth, specifically to compensate for unresolved trauma, depression, and anxiety they’ve been running from, to help them be able to make choices which can have generational change. A hard truth is: what we fear is what we become. I seek to encourage clients to understand who they are beyond a diagnosis, their options, and how to move forward. My M.O. is balancing empathy with honesty. I'm collaborative, practical, and realistic. I chose to become a therapist because I felt convicted to help people piece together themselves, their family dynamics, and find meaning in suffering. Speaking "Christian-ese" isn’t immediately always helpful, since people are psychological, emotional, and spiritual. You may come to therapy feeling lost, but together we can chart a path toward clarity, healing, and a stronger sense of self. If you’re ready to stop white-knuckling life on your own, let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work—you bring the story, I’ll bring the tools. Book a free consultation!
