Hi, I’m Ivorie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about helping individuals feel more understood, supported, and empowered in the challenges they’re facing. I began working in the mental health field because I’ve always been drawn to helping people make sense of what feels overwhelming and create meaningful change in their lives. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, intrusive thoughts, OCD-related symptoms, depression, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I especially enjoy helping clients better understand patterns that may be keeping them stuck while building practical tools that help them feel more confident managing day-to-day life. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I pull from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other mindfulness-based strategies to help clients better understand themselves while working toward lasting change. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up authentically, feel heard without judgment, and begin building a life that feels more aligned with who you want to be. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or simply ready for change, I look forward to walking alongside you in that process. A second thought: because you’re building private practice and want clients to choose you, I’d avoid sounding overly textbook. People book therapists they feel connected to. This version gives “professional but human,” which usually works better than stiff clinical bios. I will soon be accepting BCBS and UHC so reach out to get put on the list.
