Introduction

Hello and welcome to my practice! My name is Ivy Tran PhD and I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Massachusetts. I take a client-centered, empathic, and non-judgmental approach to therapy to support your goals and celebrate your success. Prior to beginning my private practice, I worked in several academic medical settings where I honed critical skills in CBT and CBT-based interventions for anxiety disorders and severe mental illness (SMI). I know that life is complex and even exciting chapters come with their challenges and mixed emotions. I specialize in treating anxiety and related disorders such as specific phobias and OCD, as well as adjustment disorders resulting from big changes (e.g. loss of a loved one, breakup or divorce, birth of a child, changing jobs, etc.). I am a firm believer in scientific and evidence-based practices to facilitate meaningful and lasting change in my clients' lives and am transparent in my approach to confronting mental health challenges. I have significant experience working with young adults, gender queer and diverse individuals, BIPOC and racially marginalized individuals, and navigating the specific challenges that arise with chronic pain and/or illness. As an multiracial Asian American woman, it is important to me to honor and uplift all parts of my clients' identities. If you think that we would be a great fit, please complete my contact form and I will speak with you shortly!
