Introduction

Hello hello, my name is Jace (they/them) and I am a 2nd-generation, non-binary, neurodivergent, and queer therapist dedicated to creating a safe, affirming space for all people who are coming to terms with being neurodivergent and/or recovering from burnout; are exploring what it means to be part of the LGBTQ2IA+ and TGNC community; who want to deepen their understanding of the impact of trauma in their life; are learning how to practice non-monogamy ethically and responsibly; or just come from complex family and relationship dynamics. I specialize in trauma-informed, culturally inclusive, gender-affirming and neurodiversity-affirming therapy for adults, while utilizing a client-centered, humanistic, and relational focused approach, combined with mindfulness and somatic techniques to help connect your logical thoughts with your emotional feelings and experiences. I believe strongly that the strongest predictor of therapeutic success is not what theory a therapist specializes in, not what techniques they are trained to use, nor even the number of years of experience they might have; I believe the strongest predictor of success in therapy is the ability for a client to feel safe, seen, heard, and valued by their therapist so that the client can fully open up and be authentic without fear of judgement. In our work together, I will always prioritize creating a non-hierarchical and collaborative therapeutic relationship where we can explore your story together with compassion, curiosity, and zero-judgment. And if for what ever reason and at any time you do not feel that we are a good match, I will always be more than happy to help connect you to another therapist and equip you with the resources necessary to find someone who is a good match for you. Your healing is always the priority.
