I strive to help individuals Overcome The Grip of A Narcissist™. Narcissist Abuse and Antagonistic Relationships are an insidious form of emotional and verbal abuse. It happens so gradually that people often don’t see it for what it is until a long period of time has lapsed. By this point, a great deal of damage has been done. More often than not, when one becomes cognizant of the lies and manipulation, they have lost the person in which they use to be, and feel like an empty shell of self. This fracture self needs to become whole again. Realizing that focus needs to be put back on self and not focusing on the antagonistic person. This is where change can occur. You can also advance quickly in getting out of the feeling of being stuck in ruminating thoughts and in life by implementing EMDR. I have led over 80 individuals and held more than 6 psychoeducation classes on Narcissism. I have written several books that help with Overcoming The Grip. Those affected by narcissistic abuse often face complex realities: staying in relationships, feelings of duty or obligation, family roles, cultural expectations, religious abuse, economic pressure, shame, and the fear of love itself. For many, going “no contact” simply isn’t possible. That’s why I come along the side of you to build emotional capital, resilience, and support systems that allow for a fulfilling life, even when separation isn’t an option. Building capital is a vital part of becoming whole again when you feel like there is no way to be whole again. I see it as my role to accompany you and see you for who you are, understand the hidden pain of the betrayal, and acknowledge the truth and pain that encompasses you. I have lived in four different countries: the USA, Japan, Korea, and Qatar. I have visited over twenty countries. I used to be an avid hiker, love to be outside gardening, and I am currently remodeling my main bathroom with my own two hands. Nothing is more exciting to me than creating beauty with my own blood, sweat, and tears. I have recently had to slow down due to osteoarthritis and joint replacement. Yet, I strive to stay true to my-whole-self, just as everyone should. I may have been fractured, but I came back even stronger. “If You Can See It, If You Can Say It, You Can Change It”- Jaci Zahn Education MA Counseling, St. Edwards University- Austin BA Social Sciences with an Emphasis in Middle School Education, University of Northern Colorado Credentials Narcissistic Abuse In-Depth Dynamics of Narcissistic and Antagonistic Relationships Trauma and Narcissism: Personality Disorders as Trauma-Related Disorders Working with the Fallout of Narcissistic Abuse Being Culturally and Intersectionally Informed Antagonism-Informed Treatment Approach Legal and Ethical Considerations for Working with Narcissism Empowering Survivors of Relational Trauma Trauma & Shame-Informed Dual Certification Group Therapy EMDR Trained – EMDRIA Professional Affiliations Narcissistic Abuse Media Association American Counseling Association (ACA)
