Hi there, Starting therapy can feel like a big step, AND it’s one of the most meaningful investments you make in yourself. I see therapy as a place where you can slow down, sort through what’s been heavy or confusing, and begin making sense of your experiences. Together, we can explore patterns, build practical skills, and create space for growth, healing, and change. My name is Jacilynn “JC” Peacock and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who practices clinical therapy in the Missouri area. I’m passionate about helping people feel more connected—to themselves and to the people in their lives. I grew up in Dallas, Texas in a military family, which gave me an early appreciation for resilience, adaptability, and the importance of strong relationships. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Pepperdine University and my Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, where I specialized in clinical work with children, youth, and families. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings— including as a program director for a teen substance use treatment program, a summer camp director, a mental health counselor, a school-based counselor, and now as a business owner. I founded Joint Connections Counseling LLC with the belief that meaningful change happens through connection and mutual empathy. My goal is to create a supportive, down-to-earth space where clients can explore challenges, build insight, and move toward lasting emotional wellbeing. Outside of my work, I value time with family, meaningful connections, and creating space for rest and enjoyment. I’m passionate about justice and equality for all, and I believe those values are reflected in the way I show up for my clients. I also enjoy spending time with my cats, reading, watching TV, and traveling— simple things that help me stay grounded and present.
