**Note: I am in multiple locations! I am in White Bear Lake Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; and Cambridge Wednesday and Friday. I also offer telehealth and outdoor sessions. Please reach out regarding scheduling if the desired location is not listed. 😊** Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia University, St. Paul, and Master of Arts in Counseling from Adler Graduate School. My passion includes sarcasm/humor in sessions; working with pre-teens, teens, and adults experiencing trauma symptoms; at risk behaviors/conduct; complex mental health symptoms; educators experiencing burnout or trauma; and just flat out working through the crap parts of life. I have primarily worked in school-based mental health in a variety of roles (i.e., the system can be ROUGH). I enjoy helping clients, families, and systems navigate the impacts of mental health. I do my best to implement person-centered approaches in therapy that are trauma and culturally informed, strengths based, unique to each client, and normally involve relatable memes. I know that meeting clients where they are, utilizing humor and creativity, providing unconditional positive regard, and maintaining a trauma-informed relational lens are key aspects to enhancing the therapeutic process and growth (e.g., possibly sit in silence for you to feel hard emotions, then laugh, and still let you know I'm proud of you at the end).
