Introduction

Hi! My name is Jacklyn Rodriguez. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor. I know taking this first step into therapy can feel overwhelming, scary, and nerve-wracking, and I want to assure you that it is absolutely normal to feel a range of emotions when jumping into this therapy journey. I take a client-centered approach and focus on building a relationship first before diving into the depths of what brings you here. I value transparency, honesty, compassion, and a little bit of humor (sometimes we just have to have a good chuckle) in the space I provide for my clients. At Wholehearted Path Counseling, I provide compassionate, specialized, and trauma-informed therapy for women and mothers who are tired of surviving in a constant state of overwhelm. Together, we work to better understand your experiences, process what’s been carried for too long, strengthen nervous system regulation, and help you reconnect with yourself in a way that feels grounded, authentic, and sustainable. I have 13 years of counseling experience and 19 years of experience working in the mental health field. I'm certified and specialize in treating individuals specifically facing mental health challenges in pregnancy and postpartum. I received my Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I’ve worked with youth and adults in different capacities, specifically, individuals challenged by depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, perinatal mental health, and parenting issues. My approach integrates evidence-based practices including EMDR, CBT, and mindfulness-based strategies while honoring the complexity of your lived experience. Therapy here is not about perfection...it’s about creating space for healing, self-understanding, and support that feels genuinely human. You don’t have to feel alone in these experiences. I can take this journey with you as you discover yourself in a new way to help you reach a place of self-acceptance and understanding. I’m open to listening to your story, and I’m passionate about helping you find meaning in all that you’ve experienced. You have it within you to overcome life’s challenges and I’ll be here to provide you with support and a safe and trusting space. At this time, I have availability Monday thru Friday between the hours of 9am and 3pm.
