Introduction

I offer a free, brief 15 minute introductory phone call. If you would like to speak before booking a session, please contact our office to set that up. Currently I work with adults 18 years and up. I strive to ensure clients feel truly heard and understood. Personal experiences have taught me the value of having a compassionate listener, and providing that same level of empathy and support to each client is part of my goal. I understand the complexities of the various roles we inhabit in life—whether as a sister, friend, father, mother, son, or student— I know they can bring immense joy but also significant stress and confusion. I believe sharing these experiences with a skilled listener can be a crucial step towards healing and personal growth. I have extensive experience working with individuals facing PTSD and trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction issues, and life transitions. I also have experience in resolving parent/child relationship issues, helping clients discover and connect with core values and goals, and offer pre-marital counseling to help couples ready themselves for marriage. More than just listening, my approach targets problem areas using evidence-based treatment options, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Sessions are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, so don’t worry if these are’t familiar to you. I collaborate with clients to set clear counseling goals to ensure consistent progress. I engage clients actively through personalized homework assignments, connect them with helpful resources, and employ creative strategies to bring about meaningful change. Come work with me for a professional, empathetic, and results-oriented counseling experience for healing and growth in life.
