With a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate the complexities of mental health, Jacob is a Licensed Master of Social Work under the supervision of Brandi. He has been in this field since 2017. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work and has worked in hospice, inpatient and intensive outpatient programs, and in private practice. Jacob specializes in stress management and guiding clients through life transitions. In addition to individuals, Jacob also helps couples with his Gottman 1 certification. He can also assist with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) counseling techniques to improve your mental health. Jacob understands that life can be challenging, and it is his mission to help you find effective ways to integrate mindfulness and coping strategies into your journey. Together, you and Jacob will explore how to process symptoms of anxiety and depression, as well as the feelings associated with grief and loss. Building rapport and creating a safe space for the work together are Jacob's top priorities. In his free time, Jacob enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, exercising, cooking, painting, and drawing. He loves movies, cooking, making art, anime, running in the park, church, and gaming.
