Introduction

My Story- As the first generation in my family born and raised in the United States, with roots in Mexico, Spain, and Costa Rica, I grew up aware of both the richness of my cultural heritage and the subtle ways intergenerational trauma can shape identity and belonging. Alongside this, I struggled with low self-worth, chronic stress, anxiety, complex trauma, and the weight of my own relentless standards—driven to overwork, overachieve, chase perfection, and please others—constantly putting others first while abandoning myself. By the age of 22, years of overfunctioning and burnout led me into a quarter-life crisis and spiritual awakening. I realized I didn’t truly know who I was or what I wanted outside of the influence of family, friends, and society. This realization propelled me into a deep journey of self-discovery and healing. For five years, I solo traveled the world, immersing myself in diverse cultures and learning wisdom from people across the globe, including indigenous traditions that revealed the profound connection between nature, spirituality, community, and healing. Through this process, I began to return home to myself—learning to love myself, to prioritize my own needs, and to feel safe in my body again. The transformation I experienced inspired me to become a therapist, so I could walk alongside others in their own journeys of growth, healing, and self-discovery. My Mission- My mission is to create a safe, warm, and non-judgmental space where you feel deeply seen, heard, and accepted exactly as you are. I believe that healing begins with genuine connection, and I strive to hold space for all parts of you—including the ones that may feel unseen, unlovable, broken, or misunderstood. Through a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed lens, I will walk alongside you on your healing and growth journey, helping you reconnect with your authentic self and cultivate the tools you need to navigate life with greater ease. My intention is to support you in moving beyond patterns of survival into a place where you can experience inner peace, joy, self-compassion, and a felt sense of safety within your body and relationships. Ultimately, my mission is to empower you to live a life that feels aligned, meaningful, and truly your own. My Approach- My approach is holistic, honoring the connection between mind, body, and spirit. I believe true healing happens when all parts of you are supported and integrated. For the body, I draw from somatic practices such as polyvagal-informed techniques, mindfulness, breathwork, and EMDR to help regulate the nervous system and release stored stress and trauma. For the mind, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to explore unhelpful thought patterns and core beliefs, while incorporating attachment theory to help clients understand relationship dynamics and develop healthier ways of connecting to themselves and others. For the spirit, I incorporate transpersonal psychology, guiding clients in exploring their inner world and connecting with a deeper sense of meaning and purpose. I also integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) and inner child healing, supporting clients in building compassionate relationships with the different parts of themselves, nurturing wounded inner parts, and cultivating a stronger, more grounded sense of self. This integrative approach allows me to address the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and to support deep, lasting healing and transformation.
