I became a therapist because I genuinely believe that people can grow and change, no matter how stuck they feel. With a Master’s in Social Work from NYU and nearly a decade of experience, I’ve worked with people facing anxiety, mood disorders, substance use challenges, and big life transitions. I also have extensive experience working with individuals navigating serious mental health conditions, helping them build stability, confidence, and a greater sense of control in their lives. My training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) allows me to tailor therapy to what actually works for you—not just a one-size-fits-all approach. My style is compassionate, supportive, and straightforward. Therapy with me isn’t about endless “mm-hmms” while you do all the talking—I’m actively engaged in the process with you. Whether you’re looking for strategies to manage anxiety, support through a tough transition, or a space to untangle complicated emotions, we’ll figure it out together. I offer individual therapy for teens and adults in Connecticut (via telehealth or in-person in New Canaan) and Florida (via telehealth). Some areas I specialize in include: Anxiety & Mood Disorders – Practical tools to manage worry, stress, and overwhelming emotions. Life Transitions & Stress – Helping clients navigate major life changes, whether personal, professional, or relational. Serious Mental Health Conditions – Support for those navigating complex mental health challenges, focusing on stability, coping strategies, and improving daily life. Substance Use & Co-Occurring Disorders – Support for navigating recovery, whether you’re questioning your relationship with substances or actively working toward change. My goal is to make therapy a place where you feel heard, understood, and supported.
