Jaclyn Purkiss, PsyD is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides evidence-based, compassionate care grounded in a humanistic approach. She earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant University. Dr. Purkiss has extensive training in eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, and posttraumatic stress, with specialized experience treating complex eating disorders with co-occurring trauma and substance use. Her work is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, CBT-E, CBT for ARFID, Family-Based Treatment, mindfulness-based approaches, and trauma-focused therapies including CPT, Prolonged Exposure, and TF-CBT. She prioritizes helping patients understand how therapy works while empowering them to create meaningful, lasting change.
