Introduction

At Krone Therapy, I work with individuals who are tired of feeling stuck in the same emotional, behavioral, and relational patterns. Many of my clients come to therapy after trying numerous approaches and still feeling disconnected from the life they want to live. If you're looking for more than symptom management and are seeking a deeper understanding of yourself and your challenges, you may find a different path forward here. My practice integrates nutritional psychiatry with evidence-based psychotherapy to address both the biological and psychological foundations of mental health. I believe that emotional well-being is influenced not only by our thoughts, experiences, and relationships, but also by factors such as nutrition, gut health, sleep, stress, inflammation, movement, and overall physical health. Together, we explore how these interconnected systems affect your mood, energy, focus, resilience, and quality of life. My therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Dialectical Humanistic Therapy. CBT helps identify and change patterns of thinking and behavior that no longer serve you. Psychodynamic work helps uncover deeper emotional themes, unconscious patterns, and life experiences that continue to shape your present. Dialectical Humanistic Therapy emphasizes both acceptance and change, helping you cultivate self-compassion while building practical skills for growth, emotional regulation, and meaningful living. Because healing involves the whole person, our work may also explore your relationship with food, self-worth, identity, family systems, spirituality, purpose, and connection with others. My goal is to help you understand not only what is happening, but why it is happening—and what can be done to create lasting change. I hold advanced training and certifications in in trauma-focused and integrative mental health approaches and may incorporate modalities such as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT/tapping), Acceptance and Integration Training, parent education, and other mind-body interventions when appropriate. Treatment is always individualized to your needs, goals, and strengths. Therapy can be overwhelming, but it does not have to be soul-sucking. Humor is a powerful tool for healing, insight, and connection. At the right moments, laughter can help us loosen the grip of shame, gain perspective, and remember our humanity. Growth often happens when we can hold experiences of life with curiosity and compassion. I strive to create a space where you feel understood, respected, and empowered to embrace your authentic self. Healing is not about becoming someone else; it's about finally being truly you. Maya Angelou said, "Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better."
