Introduction

Jake Gainey, M.S. | Parent & Adolescent Coach | Developmental Healing Through Connection Helping families reconnect. You’re not here because you don’t care. You’re here because you care so much and nothing is working. I work with parents and teens who are stuck in power struggles, shutdowns, and silent standoffs. If you feel like you’re walking on eggshells, like every conversation turns into conflict, or worse, nothing at all. I'm here to help you translate what’s actually happening underneath the behavior. Using a developmental trauma lens, I teach families how to regulate from the inside out. This isn’t about managing your kid’s behavior. That will come. It’s about helping them feel safe enough to show up. And helping you feel steady enough to lead with presence and not pressure. Healing doesn’t have to take years. Change happens when we stop parenting from a place of fear and start showing up from a place of relationship. If you’re ready to parent without losing the relationship, you’re in the right place.
