Introduction

I’m Jalesia Syas, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who works with adolescents (12+), adults, families, and caregivers navigating life’s challenges. Whether you’re feeling stuck in unhealthy patterns, struggling with relationships, managing difficult emotions, or simply trying to better understand yourself, therapy can provide a space to slow down, reflect, and grow. My approach is grounded, collaborative, and holistic. I believe meaningful change happens through self-awareness, accountability, and understanding the connections between our experiences, relationships, and environments. While I work directly with youth, I also believe lasting growth often involves supporting the adults in their lives. For that reason, I frequently work with parents and caregivers to strengthen communication, increase understanding, and create healthier family dynamics. My professional background includes working with underserved youth, families, and individuals navigating complex behavioral, emotional, and relational challenges. I also provide specialized treatment related to problematic sexual behaviors, clinical supervision, and professional consultation services. My goal is to create a space where clients feel comfortable showing up as they are, while also feeling supported, challenged, and empowered to move toward the life and relationships they want to build.
