When a relationship leaves you questioning yourself, it can be hard to know what to do next. You may feel unheard, worn down by conflict, or unsure whether what you’re experiencing is emotional abuse. Perhaps you’re trying to heal from betrayal, set boundaries, or find yourself again after giving so much to someone else. You deserve support that takes your experiences seriously. I’m Jamar Moore, LCPC, a Black man, Navy veteran, and Clinical Director of All Things New Clinical Services. I provide individual therapy for adults, with a particular focus on Black men navigating life, Black men and women facing relationship challenges, veterans, and people recovering from emotional and narcissistic abuse. You can talk openly here about hurt, anger, loneliness, and the things you’ve kept to yourself. My approach is compassionate and direct. I’ll listen, help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, and work with you on practical steps toward healthier boundaries, clearer communication, and greater trust in yourself. For Black men, the pressure to provide, perform, and keep moving can leave little space for your own needs. We can work through the demands of relationships, fatherhood, work, identity, and everyday life without expecting you to have all the answers. As a veteran and EMDR-certified therapist, I also support adults working through trauma and experiences that continue to affect their relationships and peace of mind. My relationship work is individual therapy. Whether you stay, leave, or are still deciding, our sessions focus on your well-being, your choices, and the patterns you want to change. You don’t have to carry this alone. Let’s talk about what you need and what moving forward could look like for you.
