Introduction

I believe in empowerment and self-compassion as pillars for change and growth. Whether healing from past traumas, facing current anxiety and stress, or clarifying which direction you want to head in life, we can work as a team to find the tools best suited for your health and well-being. I have experience working with creative folks (enjoyers of art, too), adults struggling with self-talk, confidence, and/or perfectionism, neurodivergent communities, LGBTQIA+ communities, people going through life transitions or career changes, and people working on communication and/or relationship concerns. I am psychodynamics based, so I tend to work a lot with how people relate to one another, and how that in turn affects how we see themselves. This can involve understanding early experiences and attachments to bring into consciousness current behaviors and defenses in order to make confident and intentional decisions that speak you authentically. I also approach therapy from an ACT and mindfulness approach, highlighting values that are intrinsic to who you are as a person, and more importantly what actions are in-line with said values. The best way to get a sense of my approach is to try out a free consultation. Here, you can ask whatever questions you may have, get to know my therapeutic style a bit more, and briefly discuss what you are wanting to get out of therapy. I look forward to talking to you soon!
