Introduction

Give yourself credit for taking care of your needs by starting therapy, I know it can be hard to find the right fit. I offer free consultations for all new clients, and encourage everyone to meet with a couple of different therapists before starting therapy. From anxiety that overwhelms, to wondering if you’re in the right relationship or on the right path in life, to existential dread, you don’t have to face these challenges alone. Let’s collaborate and talk about what matters to you most, and build meaningful change through action. Over the course of working together, I hope therapy serves as a platform for increased confidence, creativity, and purpose, as you develop insight into patterns of thinking, healthy coping skills, and expression of your authentic voice. It can be paralyzing to second-guess decisions, and even leave us worried we're always picking the wrong option. The pressure can build so much that it feels like we have to be perfect with everything we do in life, but that's not sustainable over time. In therapy, we'll talk about embracing the imperfections of life, accepting our authentic selves, and moving forward with clarity and compassion. My approach is humanistic/relational/existential, which I combine with my background in evidence-based psychodynamics. I believe your worldview and experiences are uniquely yours, which both hold wisdom that is also unique to you. As a result, I strive to create a non-pathologizing, collaborative, and holistic space for exploration, curiosity, and healing.
