Introduction

About Me: I have a Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Washington University and specialities in Play Therapy, Trauma, Infant Mental Health, EMDR. As a trauma-informed therapist, I will work with you from a holistic framework that is guided by your specific needs. My specialized training in trauma informed and evidence-based practices assess the mind/body relationship and aim to provide the sense of safety and competence required for change to take place. Who I serve: Kids and Teens – I have years of experience working with kids and teens from the ages of 2-22! With knowledge of how the brain develops and what the brain needs at each stage of development I am able to create the balance between play and learning. This balance allows for the child/teen to feel safe enough to let down our walls and brave enough to explore the hard things. Adults – Most therapies are created with adults in mind. (Don’t worry, I am not going to make you play.) From anxiety and depression to life changes and scary events, I am here to help you get back on track to living the life that you want. Parents – I have yet to meet a parent that reports this ‘raising kids thing’ is an easy gig! I am here to help you steer the ship of your family where it needs to go. We can work on behavioral management, processing barriers that are getting in the way of effective parenting and exploring why your kid “just wont listen.” What I do: One on one individual therapy for adults – just like you see in the movies; you, me, tissues and a couch. One on one individual therapy for teens and kids – nothing like what you see in the movies. There are toys, art supplies, and games. We are going to create what our brains need so that our hearts can heal. Parent support sessions – signing your kid up for therapy means the parent actually gets some tools too! Parent sessions are in conjunction when your child is in therapy with me. Sometimes the adults need to have a conversation that little ears do not need to hear. *I do not provide court ordered family therapy or conduct supervised visits. Clinical Supervision and Consultation – I am an approved supervisor for LCPC in Montana and LMHC in Washington State. I am also a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S). Please reach out if you are interested in receiving supervision for licensure or play therapy.
