Introduction

Jamie Daley is a Master’s Level Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) who currently works at Innovative Interventions (virtually) and Bridges Counseling and Family Center (in person in Aurora, Indiana). Jamie provides individual psychotherapy for adults, and has been in the mental health field working as a counselor for a total of 5 years (since 2020). She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Franklin College, and then received her Master’s in Counseling degree from Northwestern University. Jamie has worked in other private/group practice settings, in inpatient behavioral health, and for the Department of Child Services. She is passionate about helping adults with trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety, and grief recovery, as well as helping her clients in building self-esteem, exploring their self-identity outside of their life roles, and developing coping skills. Jamie is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), grief recovery and suicide bereavement, CBT, schema therapy, and other interventions, tending to blend together different interventions to meet the individualized needs of each client. Jamie is passionate about helping individuals in the community, especially those that have endured trauma and loss. She has a diverse amount of both personal and professional experience that assist in her ability to empathize, validate, and navigate through trauma and other stressors with a client.
