Hi! My name is Jamie Pease and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Rhode Island, with a specialty in Pain Psychology. I provide psychotherapy for individuals living with chronic pain—and I’d love to be a resource for you and your patients.. I have been working for over 20 years as a committed therapist who is here to help guide you through life’s challenges. While I can’t cure pain, I can help ease the suffering that too often accompanies it. I’m excited to share that I’ve completed a Pain Psychology Certificate Program focused on the most evidence-based approaches to helping individuals living with chronic pain. Through in-depth training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and addressing bias in pain care, I’ve expanded my ability to support clients experiencing the emotional, psychological, and physical toll of chronic pain. Pain is more than a physical experience—it affects identity, mood, relationships, and quality of life. This certification equips me with powerful, practical tools to help clients manage pain-related distress, reduce suffering, and live more meaningful lives. I can take BCBS and Commercial United health insurance and can provide Superbills. If you or someone you know is seeking support in managing chronic pain, I’m here to help.
