Introduction

Hi there, I'm Jamie! Thank you for visiting my profile. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Fontana, CA. I graduated with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University in Malibu in 2020. I work with various age groups to help them find healing, manage their symptoms, and achieve their treatment goals- and I am so honored to be part of that process with my clients. I decided to become a therapist after losing my father to suicide in 2011. It was a moment that changed my life forever. Growing up as a first-generation Asian American in the US, I had a very skewed understanding of mental health and healthy communication. After his passing, I dedicated my career to one where I could help others in the hopes that they find healing, strength, and know that they are not alone. I work well with clients who are open to the process of exploring themselves and the world around them. Clients who are curious and open to working together as a team work well with my style and personality. I thrive with feedback and encourage open conversations with my clients and couples to help build safety, trust, and healing in the therapeutic process. Please feel free to reach out to see if we may be a good fit!
