I provide Art Therapy and counseling in Missoula, Montana, offering in-person sessions in downtown Missoula and telehealth across the state. I work with children, teens, adults, families, and couples navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, burnout, and depression. Many clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected — from themselves or from the people they care about. Together, we create a space that feels safe, grounded, and collaborative. I integrate traditional talk therapy with Art Therapy to help clients express emotions, process difficult experiences, and develop practical tools for emotional regulation. Art Therapy can be especially helpful for children and teens, as well as adults who find that words alone are not enough. My approach is rooted in attachment, neurobiology, and resilience. I incorporate mindfulness and education about how the brain and nervous system respond to stress and trauma. When we understand what is happening internally, self-compassion and empowerment naturally begin to grow. Therapy is both supportive and active. Some changes happen quickly; others require steady, intentional effort inside and outside of sessions. I value empathy, humor, and honesty, and I work to build a strong therapeutic relationship where clients feel understood and appropriately challenged. I earned my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Montana and my Master of Arts in Art Therapy Counseling from Marylhurst University. I have been licensed in Montana since 2013 and am a nationally registered Art Therapist (ATR).
