Introduction

Ja’Net Brown is a South Carolina Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate. With over 25 years of experience in elementary education and as an academic interventionist, Ja’Net brings a deep understanding of the challenges families face when supporting their children’s learning, emotional and or special needs. Ja’Net aims to navigate the diagnosis process and the “what’s next” phase with confidence and compassion. Her passion lies in helping people—individually and collectively while remaining grounded in a trauma-informed and person-centered approach. Ja’Net works with adults, families, and youth ages 5 and up. She also supports individuals navigating behavioral and substance addictions, offering a safe and nonjudgmental space for healing, growth, and restoration. Using Solution-Focused and Emotion-Focused therapies, Ja’Net partners with clients to help them achieve their personal goals and rediscover balance and well-being. “You will not walk alone on your journey toward health and wholeness”.
