Introduction

I graduated from Cal Lutheran University in 2015 with a Masters of Science emphasis in Counseling Psychology I have been treating clients since 2014 and I started my own private practice in 2020. My private office is established in Camarillo, CA but I also see clients online. Some of my experience as a therapist includes working at The Coalition for Family Harmony who specialize in treating victims of domestic violence. I also worked at Vista Del Mar Psychiatric Hospital and for the County of Ventura in the Behavioral Health department where severe and chronic mental health disorders are treated. I am trained in various types of therapies but we will only use what works for you. I recently became certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and am a current member of EMDRIA; a professional membership organization who publishes research and training standards for EMDR practice. EMDR has been proven to help the brain reprocess difficult life events. I have personally seen the immense growth and healing my clients have experienced from this. EMDR certification goes beyond basic training with advanced consultation and hundreds of hours of supervised specialized practice. For couples I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT is a proven, short-term approach that focuses on the emotional bonds between partners. Instead of just fixing daily problems, EFT looks at the negative cycles that cause distress. We will work together to slow down these cycles. You will learn how to express your deepest needs and respond to each other with care and safety. My goal is to create a warm, safe, and judgment-free space. Whether you are dealing with frequent fights, a loss of trust, or a feeling of emotional drift, I can help. Together, we can turn conflict into connection and build a strong, lasting bond. I provide a compassionate, culturally attuned space for individuals, couples and families. Together we will move past surviving into true healing.
