Introduction

Welcome to Healing Our Roots Counseling, offering in-person and virtual therapy services in Oregon and Washington. I'm a Licensed Therapist with a unique multicultural perspective that centers safety, understanding, healing, and growth. I'm deeply committed to supporting the well-being of individuals, families, and communities who have been marginalized or oppressed. My counseling approach is person-centered, collaborative, trauma informed, anti-oppressive and culturally responsive. I work with you to reach your mental health goals in a way that feels genuine, empowering, and true to who you are. I support adults, teens, and children (ages 8+), along with parents, couples, and families, in navigating emotional challenges, building healthier relationships, and reconnecting with their strengths. My approach is rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a strengths-based, non-pathologizing model that supports clients in gently exploring and healing the different parts of themselves. IFS fosters deeper self-understanding and inner balance, and can be especially supportive for those navigating complex trauma or relational wounds. My practice is dedicated to serving individuals and communities who are often marginalized or underserved, including BIPOC clients with multiracial, multicultural, and intergenerational identities; neurodivergent individuals; gender-expansive and queer folks; and others impacted by systemic oppression. I also offer care focused on women’s issues, including identity development, self-esteem, relationships, and major life or career transitions. I have experience working with diverse relationship structures and family systems, including blended families; interracial couples; LGBTQIA+ and queer relationships; polyamorous and consensually non-monogamous relationships; empty nesters; and dating or partnerships involving neurodivergent individuals. I provide affirming, relationship-focused therapy that supports communication, identity, and emotional connection.
