The journey to therapy is no easy feat. To acknowledge your need for extra support is one thing, but to take the step to search for and reach out to a therapist is a remarkably courageous step toward healing. I'd like to think that we are guided to the people we need at different phases throughout our lives and if you are reading this today and my profile speaks to you, perhaps our lives have intersected at just the right time. My aim in the therapeutic process is to provide a safe space for you to let your guard down. To be your authentic self, free of shame and judgment. To act as a guide toward the healing you deserve. My identity as a Black woman who is a seeker of learning, allows me to be discerning of the experiences of others and empathize with the pains uniquely experienced in BIPOC communities. My identity as a follower of Christ compels me to be a vessel of God's healing and love for ALL, including those deconstructing from harmful theology. You are worthy of healing. You are worthy of joy. You are worthy of compassion, understanding, and safety. You are worthy of wholeness. You are worthy of the investment of therapy. I look forward to working alongside you as you grab ahold of all you are worthy of.
