Introduction

Hi, I’m Jasmine. Maybe you’re used to being someone others can depend on, and you’ve gotten good at figuring things out, showing up for the people you care about, and continuing to handle what needs to be done even when you’re running low yourself. From the outside, you may seem capable and put together, while underneath, you’re carrying anxiety, overwhelm, self-doubt, or more pressure than other people realize. You might find yourself overthinking decisions, putting a lot of pressure on yourself to get things right, worrying about disappointing people, or paying so much attention to what everyone else needs that it has become difficult to recognize what you need. Even when you know you’re overwhelmed or have reached your limit, slowing down, setting a boundary, or doing something differently may feel harder than you think it should. I work with adults who are used to carrying a lot and are beginning to recognize that they don’t want to keep doing it in the same way. You may already understand why you overthink, push yourself, accommodate others, or question yourself and still find that knowing where these patterns come from hasn’t necessarily made them easier to change. My approach is warm, collaborative, somatic, and depth-oriented. We’ll talk about what’s happening in your life while also getting curious about the patterns underneath it and paying attention to what you notice in your body, emotions, and relationships. Together, we can explore how these ways of coping developed, what they may have helped you navigate, and what happens when you begin making room for something different. Over time, our work can help you become more familiar with what you feel, need, and want, while building greater trust in yourself and more choice in how you respond when familiar patterns show up. You don’t have to come to therapy knowing exactly what’s wrong or what needs to change, because we can start with what feels hard right now and make sense of it together. I offer in-person therapy in Brea, California, and online therapy for adults throughout California and Arizona.
