Hi, I'm Jason Clawson, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with nearly 20 years of experience helping individuals, couples, teens, and families navigate life's most difficult challenges. I believe that healing happens through connection. Whether you are struggling with grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, pornography addiction, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. My approach is practical, compassionate, and collaborative. I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and grief-focused interventions to help clients develop meaningful tools for lasting change. One area I am especially passionate about is grief and loss. As both a therapist and someone who has personally experienced profound loss, I understand that grief is not something to "get over." Instead, it is something we learn to carry while continuing to build a meaningful and fulfilling life. I work with widows, widowers, caregivers, individuals experiencing life transitions, and those navigating the many forms of loss that can occur throughout life. Clients often describe me as genuine, relatable, compassionate, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy does not have to feel intimidating. Together, we can explore challenges, build skills, process emotions, and create a path forward that aligns with your values and goals. Seeking help is not a sign of weakness—it is often one of the strongest decisions a person can make. If you're ready to take the next step, I would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey.
