Introduction

Jason Cochran is the Founder and Co-owner of Greenville Mercy, where he combines clinical expertise, theological depth, and a heart for helping individuals and families flourish. He leads the center with a vision for healing, growth, and lasting change—for clients and clinicians alike. Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Columbia International University, and both a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPCS), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), Registered Play Therapist, and National Certified Counselor. He is also an active member of the South Carolina Counseling Association. Since 2013, Jason has specialized in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and couples. He offers parenting support, family therapy, and marital and premarital counseling, all with a relational and integrative approach. Rooted in a narrative therapy perspective, Jason believes that every person carries a story that matters—and that healing begins when we are invited to name and reshape that story with compassion and hope. Whether in the counseling room or in leadership, he is committed to creating space for people to thrive.
