At the heart of my work is the belief that lasting change comes not just from learning new skills, but from the deep and often brave work of understanding our story, our relationships, and how we came to be who we are. My approach integrates the depth of psychodynamic therapy, with the relational and spiritual insight and training from Curt Thompson’s approach to healing through connection and vulnerability. I also draw from attachment theory and the science of interpersonal neurobiology, which help us understand how early relational experiences shape the brain, the nervous system, and our sense of self — and how healing is possible through safe, attuned relationships. In therapy, we’ll pay close attention not only to your present struggles, but also to the patterns beneath them: recurring emotional themes, relational dynamics, and internal conflicts that often trace back to early experiences. These unconscious patterns can keep us feeling stuck, anxious, disconnected, or ashamed. Together, we’ll explore your inner world with curiosity and compassion, creating space to make sense of your story and experience new ways of being — not just in your mind, but in your body and relationships. I welcome conversations about faith, identity, addiction, emotional healing, and the integration of soul and science. Therapy is not just about solving problems — it’s about becoming more fully and freely yourself.
