Introduction

Hi, I’m Jason Williamson, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and the founder of The Well Counseling & Consultation. I came into this work through both lived experience and professional training. Before becoming a counselor, I served as a Marine Corps veteran and worked in high stress helping roles, which gave me firsthand insight into how trauma, stress, and unresolved experiences show up in the body, relationships, and daily life. That background deeply shapes how I work with clients today. My clinical focus is trauma and nervous system based therapy. I primarily use Brainspotting and Accelerated Resolution Therapy, integrated with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. This means we do not just talk about problems. We work directly with how your brain and body are holding onto stress, trauma, or emotional pain, while also helping you build practical skills to move forward in your life. Sessions are structured, intentional, and paced to your nervous system, not rushed or overwhelming. I specialize in working with adults, veterans, first responders, and individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, grief, and major life transitions. I also work with clients who feel stuck, emotionally shut down, or exhausted from trying approaches that have not gone deep enough. My goal is to help you feel safer in your body, more grounded in your emotions, and more aligned with the life you want to live. Therapy at The Well is not about fixing you. It is about helping your system heal, building resilience, and creating real, lasting change. If you are looking for therapy that goes beyond surface level coping skills and addresses the root of what is keeping you stuck, I would be honored to work with you.
