Javeria Junaidi, LPC, meets adolescents and adults where they are — whether they're anxious, overwhelmed, weighed down, or unsure how to put words to what they're experiencing. She has a particular interest in working with clients facing anxiety, depression, mood-related concerns like bipolar disorder, life transitions, chronic illness, or other emotional difficulties. She sees therapy as a relationship where growth moves in both directions — she doesn’t just guide clients forward, she’s changed by the people she sits with. She draws from CBT, DBT-informed skills, and trauma-informed care, tailoring therapy to each person rather than expecting everyone to fit the same approach. She helps clients better understand their emotions and patterns, develop practical ways to cope when things feel difficult, and gradually build a more compassionate understanding of themselves. She is especially mindful of the ways family, culture, faith, identity, and generational experiences can influence how we understand ourselves and our struggles. Above all, she hopes therapy can be a place where clients feel genuinely heard and a little less alone with what they’re carrying. Along with English, she also offers therapy in Urdu, and Hindi for clients who feel more comfortable expressing themselves in those languages.
