Hi there! I’m Jayne, a Licensed Psychotherapist dedicated to helping you navigate life’s ups and downs. My journey into this rewarding field began at the University of Pittsburgh, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Science. I fell in love with this work and stayed with Pitt to earn my Master’s in Social Work, focusing on Direct Practice Mental Health. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families in community-based therapy, outpatient centers, and private practice. One of my favorite milestones wasworking with a nonprofit wellness center, where I won a SEED grant to build a holistic program. This initiative helped folks with chronic mental illness smoothly and safely transition from the hospital back into their home neighborhoods. My approach to our work together is built on the belief that therapy is a true partnership. My style is warm, solution-focused, and deeply rooted in your unique strengths. My goal is to give you a safe, welcoming space where you can uncover your true potential and build a life worth celebrating. We can’t change the hard things that happened in your past, but we can absolutely work together to understand and handle the challenges you face today. By tailoring our sessions to your exact needs, we will gently look at old habits or negative mindsets that might be keeping you stuck. I draw from a mix of proven tools to help you feel your best, including CBT, DBT, ERP, SFBT, Mindfulness, and relaxation techniques. Whether you are navigating a tough crisis or you are just ready to take your life in a fresh, new direction, I am here to guide and support you every step of the way. When I am not in the office, I try to practice what I preach by staying balanced and connected. You can usually find me outdoors recharging my own battery—I love exploring local hiking trails, and giving back to the community by volunteering. “Secure, HIPAA-compliant video sessions.” VM#: (412) 406-8080 x598 https://www.cranberrypsychcenter.com
