Introduction

Jazminne Silva, LLMSW, is a compassionate and culturally responsive therapist dedicated to supporting clients as they navigate life’s challenges. Her journey into the field of therapy has been profoundly shaped by her personal experiences, which have instilled in her a deep sense of empathy, resilience, and a dedication to helping others feel seen, heard, and supported. This personal connection fuels her passion for mental health and strengthens her ability to connect with clients on a genuine and holistic level. Jazminne earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Grand Valley State University. Jazminne specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, family conflict, and adjustment-related stress. Additional areas of expertise include self-esteem issues, grief and loss, stress management, and supporting individuals impacted by domestic violence or challenges related to sexual orientation and gender identity. She has experience working with individuals across the lifespan and has served diverse populations in a variety of clinical settings, including outpatient mental health clinics, inpatient settings, and in-home services. Her background also includes Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as therapeutic support for survivors of domestic violence, particularly within the Hispanic/Latinx community. Jazminne brings a fresh, engaging perspective to telehealth therapy, offering sessions that go beyond simply sitting and talking on a screen. She incorporates interactive elements that foster connection, creativity, and meaningful participation. Her therapeutic style is holistic and individualized, blending Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and somatic techniques. She integrates mind-body practices such as mindfulness, breathwork, and body-based awareness to help clients feel grounded and present. Jazminne believes that not every person is the same, and she tailors each treatment plan to reflect the unique needs, strengths, and goals of every client. As a clinician with deep ties to the Hispanic/Latinx community, she is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive space where clients from all backgrounds can explore, grow, and thrive.
