Hi, I’m Jazminne Silva, LLMSW! I believe therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, sharing your experiences, and working through life’s challenges without fear of judgment. My own personal experiences have shaped my passion for helping others feel seen, heard, and understood. I strive to build genuine connections with my clients and meet each person with compassion, curiosity, and an open mind. I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Grand Valley State University. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, family conflict, self-esteem, and stress. I also have experience supporting survivors of domestic violence and individuals exploring challenges related to sexual orientation and gender identity. My therapeutic approach is integrative, holistic, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. I draw from Person-Centered Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and somatic techniques, incorporating mindfulness, breathwork, and creative, interactive activities when helpful. I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I want our sessions to feel like a space where you can explore, grow, and discover what works best for you. I am passionate about providing culturally responsive, LGBTQIA+-affirming care and creating a welcoming environment for people from all backgrounds, including those within the Hispanic/Latinx community!
