Introduction

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor–Supervisor with more than 15 years of clinical experience across psychiatric hospital, state program, school district, agency, and employee-assistance settings. As a bilingual (English/Spanish) clinician with deep roots in the Rio Grande Valley, I bring a culturally grounded, trauma-informed approach to every client I work with. My work integrates evidence-based therapies with body-based, nervous-system approaches to healing. I help clients move through trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and the long-term effects of chronic stress—not just by understanding what happened, but by helping the body feel safe again. I draw on EMDR, somatic and polyvagal-informed practices, and mindfulness alongside traditional talk therapy, meeting each person where they are. I also specialize in immigration psychological evaluations, conducted directly in English or Spanish, for clients navigating I-601/I-601A waivers, VAWA, U-Visa, and Cancellation of Removal cases. Whether you're seeking relief from overwhelm, working through past trauma, or reconnecting with a sense of calm and self, my goal is to walk alongside you with warmth, respect, and skill—honoring cuerpo, mente y alma.
