Introduction

I believe that mental healthal involves approaching healing from the perspective of body, mind and spirit, and I try to address emotional healing from an integrative perspective that looks at the whole person. In addition to sharing and processing emotion, we may also explore thoughts, lifestyle, relationships, faith, and nutrition. My areas of special interest include grief, anxiety, depression, self awareness and personal growth at a deep level. If you are interested in incorporating Christian faith into the healing process, know that we will develop a therapeutic approach that aligns with mental and spiritual well being. I received my master's degree in Counseling from the University of Rochester in 1993 and received post graduate studies at the Cleveland Institute for Cognitive Therapy. I am certified as a grief informed professional. I am trained in nutritional and integrative medicine for mental health. I am licensed wtih 30 years of experience as a counselor. Whether you're currently facing specific challenges such as anxiety, depression or grief, or you're just wanting to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, feel welcome to reach out to explore your best path forward. I will look forward to helping you on your journey toward healing and growth.
