Hello! My name is Jeannine (Jeanne) Taylor. I earned a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Doctoral degree in Counselor Education. I am also an Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University. I seek to help people balance work and family, navigate the challenges before, during and after divorce, and cope with changes associated with midlife and later life. I also help clients make career decisions and establish educational goals. My approach to therapy varies but most often I help my clients look for solutions and to tap into their own strengths to solve their problems. I listen empathically to their stories and help them revise life stories that are no longer working for them. I create a warm environment in which you will feel heard, listened to, and validated. I strive to be able to see the problem in the way you see it, to be able to feel the problem the way you feel it, and to understand the richer, deeper meanings that lie just below the surface of the problem. My goal is to assist you to discover new solutions that lead you to your best life possible.
