Introduction

Hello! I am a Licensed Psychologist (IL) and Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) specializing in clinical and performance psychology. My practice can be defined by four primary areas: grief and loss, life transition, identity development, and athlete mental health. This may involve death, relationships, marriage, church hurt, or processing a loved one’s incarceration. Transition examples include college adjustment, career and couple changes, retirement, or breakups. I help clients explore who they are amid perfectionism, obsessive/compulsive patterns, feeling stuck, and questions of personal or Christian identity. Common symptoms I treat within athletes include anxiety, depression, body image, eating concerns, injury, emotion regulation, and communication. I take an integrative approach grounded in person-centered therapy, tailoring evidence-based strategies to each client’s unique goals and context. Whether you are working to improve performance, manage stress, or gain greater clarity and direction, I aim to provide a supportive and collaborative environment that facilitates meaningful growth and healing. From a sport and performance perspective, I enjoy working with athletes and performers of all ages to help them reach their highest potential. This may involve collaboration with coaches, parents, and athletes using Psychological Skills Training (PST), including confidence, self-talk, imagery, motivation, communication, leadership, burnout, exercise health, and injury recovery. I offer consultation of all sorts within the domain of sport psychology. This service is self-pay and not offered through insurance. If you are interested specifically in sport psychology services, please visit my personal webpage (https://sites.google.com/view/bannercsp/home) to learn more about these services. Reaching out can feel vulnerable, especially when you are accustomed to carrying pressure or uncertainty on your own. You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning. If you are looking for a space to feel understood and explore what is weighing on you, I encourage you to reach out for a free 15 minute consultation to get to know me.
