Introduction

I'm a clinical mental health counselor with over 25 years of corporate leadership and consulting experience. The many personal life challenges and losses I have navigated while simultaneously working in high-pressure professional environments have culminated in a generative therapeutic and coaching style that blends empathy and curiosity with encouragement, optimism, practicality, and possibility. I use evidence-based practices and pragmatic techniques that resonate with those who are both eager for progress and willing to embrace the emotional work that change, healing, and growth involve. I work particularly well with those who are progress-oriented and open to sharing a laugh, maybe even some tears, along the way! Having worked with everyone from Type-A twenty-somethings to busy working moms and executives affiliated with brands ranging from PBS, eBay, and Shark Tank, I'm a small-town nerdy girl at heart who believes deeply in the power of HI: Human Interaction, Human Insight, and Human Inspiration. I'd be honored to accompany you toward a greater sense of whatever "well-being" means for you right now. THE CLOVERLY WAY As the earliest plant to sprout after winter, the clover's annual return was traditionally hailed by ancient cultures as a sign of renewal. Spiritual figures from Celtic Druids to St. Patrick celebrated the clover as a timeless symbol of resilience. The three heart-shaped leaves that comprise a typical clover have been said to symbolize faith, hope, and love - elements that work together to help us tap into our inner wellspring of courage and possibility. THE BACKSTORY As a Midwestern, nature-loving child of the '80s, four-leaf clover hunting was a favorite (albeit elusive) pastime. While they were incredibly hard to come by organically, I realized if I could find a robust three-leaf clover and ever so gently tear the largest leaf in half...then, voilá! Four leaves appeared....and I felt a special sense of delight and empowerment that, á la the Serenity Prayer, I had done what I could to control and create my own "luck" (vs. just wandering, waiting for it to happen to me). THE BELIEF IN YOU To me, that's what you're doing by showing up here now: you're believing in yourself. Believing that amid whatever imperfect season or storm you find yourself in, no matter how stuck you may feel, and how much you cannot control...that you can choose to take just this one next step. To invite me to come alongside you...as a guide to help you discover personal insights and neuroscience-informed tools to support you...and a muse to help you tune into your inner wisdom, and hear it in a way that clarifies what's possible and where you want to go next. THE WAY TO GET STARTED Scroll up to the top of the page to access your preferred mode of contact...and reach out - I'd love to hear from you! I'm happy to have a complimentary meet-and-greet call - a brief (20-minute), low-pressure, zero-obligation way to: 1.) get a better sense of me, 2.) explore whether counseling or coaching is a better fit for you, and 3.) get answers to any questions you may have (e.g., fees, insurance, and scheduling oh-my!) THE WRAP UP And now, without further ado, and ever-inspired by the unadulterated enthusiasm of my three nephews (8, 11, and 14), I can't help but gently clap here and encourage you onward with an inviting: "Let's go!" I (and my little pup of a sidekick, Henri) are so looking forward to meeting you.
