Introduction

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Houston Christian University (formerly Houston Baptist University). I counsel couples and individuals ages 18 and up. I utilize a combination of evidence-based techniques that will uniquely apply to each client’s needs. I desire to build a strong alliance with my clients, partnering with them to find empowerment, safety, and restoration while they achieve their goals. I understand the importance of the therapeutic alliance and hope that clients can find that connection wherever they choose to receive counseling. I have special training in the Flash Technique for trauma, the Gottman Method for couples, and the premarital assessment "Save Your Marriage Before It Starts" (SYMBIS). Please note that while I offer Christian Counseling, I support working individuals from any faith or no faith background and will respect any values my clients hold.
