Is Telehealth as effective as in person? For evidence based therapies (ex. CBT, EMDR), telehealth is generally comparable in efficacy to in person treatment. (JMIR Mental Health, NCBI). Research consistently shows that EMDR delivered via telehealth is essentially as effective as EMDR delivered in person. Studies find comparable reductions in PTSD, anxiety, and depression, with similar treatment completion rates and therapeutic alliance across both formats. (NIH, PubMed). HELPFUL TOOLS: www.self-compassion.org www.mindful.org www.tarabrach.com COACHING- I also offer life/wellness coaching — a non‑clinical, solution‑focused option that draws on nearly 20 years of clinical experience. I use evidence‑based clinical modalities to create practical tools to help adults manage stress and overwhelm, navigate life transitions and adjustment, strengthen confidence, and rediscover identity. Coaching is geared toward actionable change and habit‑building (not a substitute for therapy); I’m happy to help you determine whether coaching or clinical care is the best fit.
