Introduction

I believe that our relationships and connections are at the heart of our well-being. Right now, many of us are experiencing a profound sense of disconnection, both from ourselves and from others, which can often leave us feeling untethered and adrift in the world. We want to be in meaningful relationship with others, we want to build and be a part of community, but figuring out how can feel like a daunting task. I hope to support you in making that task a little less daunting. I aim to provide a space where together we can navigate the complexities of connecting with yourself and others. You’re steering the ship, and I help to read the map. During our sessions, we will explore multiple aspects of your relational landscape. This includes: the relationships you have with yourself, your core values, and your body; your connections with family, friends, and loved ones; your place in the communities to which you belong; and your connection to the world around you. You are welcome to discuss a wide range of topics that impact the quality of your relationships. This may include, but is not limited to, explorations of gender and sexuality, spirituality and ritual, your proximity to privilege, and the various forms of systemic advantage or disadvantage you experience. I will encourage and challenge you to look at long-held beliefs and patterns from new perspectives while dedicating time to honor any grief and difficult emotions that arise. Feeling seen and understood as a full, embodied human is an important step toward reconnecting with yourself, others, and community. I hope our relationship can be that soft spot for you to land.
