Starting counseling can be intimidating, especially if it’s your first time. Recognizing the challenges this may bring, and the sensitive nature of the work we’ll do together, I am committed to building a safe and trusting relationship. This foundation will allow us to tackle the healing process and make meaningful changes. I work with adults who struggle with issues like PTSD, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, perinatal challenges, and other mental health concerns. Together, we’ll focus on improving functioning, communication, boundaries, and self-compassion, with a little sarcasm and humor along the way! I am LGBTQIA2S+ affirmative and am trained in Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and a variety of other evidenced-based practices that I will use to help build a treatment approach that aligns with your specific needs and goals.
