I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and that you are the expert on your own life. My approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, with an emphasis on creating a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. I strive to meet each person where they are and work alongside you at a pace that feels comfortable and meaningful. As a board-certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), I also have the unique ability to incorporate creativity into therapy when it feels helpful or appealing to you. You do not need to consider yourself “artistic” or have any previous art experience—creative approaches can simply be another way to explore thoughts, emotions, and experiences when words don't always feel like enough. I have experience working with teens, young adults, and adults across a variety of settings, including residential treatment, substance use treatment, and crisis services. These experiences have allowed me to work with people navigating a wide range of challenges and life experiences. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, working through past experiences, navigating a transition, or simply hoping to better understand yourself, I would be honored to meet you where you are and support you along the way. You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Therapy can be a place to begin. I am available for in person sessions, as well as telehealth.
