With over 25 years of clinical experience, I’ve learned that our relationships, family interactions, and cultural systems shape how we think and feel, as well as what we do every day. If you’re experiencing difficulties in your relationships, stress from life transitions or cultural circumstances, or grief from the loss of someone or some part of your identity, I’m here to help you process your ambivalence, integrate change, and move forward. I will use an integration of experiential, emotion focused, and systems interventions to understand your current circumstances and the influences shaping them. Whether navigating couple or family stress, a life transition, anxiety, depression, or a significant loss, we will work to create lasting change that integrates your values and cultural context. I look forward to helping you improve the relationship with yourself and with those that matter most to you. I work with individuals, couples, and families in life transitions, as well as processing grief and loss and coping with symptoms of anxiety and depression. Professional Background In addition to my PhD in counselor education and supervision, I am dually licensed as a marriage and family therapist (LMFT) and professional counselor (LPC). Beyond my work with clients, I have been a core faculty member in university couple and family therapy training programs since 2006. I am an AAMFT approved supervisor and have spent over 20 years teaching, supervising, and mentoring the next generation of clinicians. This deep commitment to the field ensures that the care you receive is grounded in both experience and research.
