Introduction

When Trust Has Been Broken, Everything Can Feel Uncertain ____________________ You may find yourself replaying conversations, searching for answers, questioning your reality, struggling to trust your own instincts, or wondering how your relationship reached this point. Perhaps you feel anxious all the time. Maybe you can't sleep. Maybe you are carrying grief so heavy that it feels difficult to breathe. Whatever brings you here, you deserve a place where your experiences are understood and your healing matters. Specialized Support ____________________ A significant portion of my practice is dedicated to helping individuals and couples affected by infidelity and relationship deception, including hidden sexual behaviors, pornography use, emotional affairs, chronic dishonesty, financial deception, and other serious breaches of trust and integrity. Discovering that someone you trusted has been keeping important parts of your reality hidden can be deeply destabilizing. It can feel as though the life you thought you were living has suddenly changed. Many people know this experience as betrayal trauma. While that term can help put words to the profound pain that follows the discovery of infidelity, pornography use, or other hidden behaviors, my clinical approach goes further. My work is informed by Dr. Omar Minwalla's Deceptive Sexuality and Trauma Treatment (DSTT) model, in which I have completed advanced APA-approved training directly with Dr. Minwalla. This approach recognizes Deceptive Sexuality Trauma (DST) as distinct from traditional betrayal-trauma models and considers not only the sexual or relational behaviors themselves, but also the psychological impact of secrecy, deception, manipulation of reality, and integrity violations. I work with women and men who have been impacted by deception, as well as couples navigating the aftermath of infidelity and other significant breaches of trust. Couples therapy is offered when clinically appropriate and when the conditions are in place for the work to be safe and productive. Therapy Rooted in Compassion and Understanding ____________________ I believe healing happens within relationships that feel emotionally safe, respectful, and authentic. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative. Together, we can make sense of what you have experienced, help you reconnect with your own voice and instincts, and support you as you decide what healing and moving forward look like for you. My work is informed by both professional training and lived experience. While every person's journey is unique, those experiences deepen the empathy and understanding I bring to my work with clients. In addition to my specialized work with infidelity and relationship deception, I also support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and significant life transitions. Take the First Step ____________________ You don't have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. If you would like to see whether we might be a good fit, I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. Simply click "Request Appointment" above.
