Introduction

About Jennifer Enders Psychotherapist (She/Her/Hers) Hello and welcome—I’m glad you’re here. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor providing telehealth therapy in Arizona and Iowa. I hold a B.S. in Psychology (2001) and an M.A. in Counseling (2006), with over 23 years of experience in mental health services. My background includes psychiatric acute care, in-home services, and outpatient community mental health. In 2021, I founded Beyond Wellness to focus more directly on supporting adults in outpatient telehealth care. I work primarily with high-functioning adults—especially women—who feel anxious, burned out, and emotionally overwhelmed even while appearing to manage life well on the outside. Many of my clients struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, and a persistent sense of carrying too much for too many people. Over time, these patterns can lead to exhaustion, self-doubt, and disconnection from one’s own needs. My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, understood, and not judged. In our work together, we slow things down and focus on understanding the patterns that keep you stuck while helping you reconnect with yourself in a more grounded way. I integrate trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches and tailor therapy to your needs. Much of our work focuses on emotional regulation, self-trust, boundary-building, and shifting long-standing patterns of overfunctioning and self-neglect. I am an inclusive therapist committed to creating an affirming space where all identities are welcomed and respected. My goal is to offer a steady, supportive space where you can move out of survival mode and into a more balanced, connected, and sustainable way of living.
